The cat wouldn’t stop yowling in the kitchen: the owner was about to scold him with a rag — but the cat wasn’t yelling for nothing.

The cat’s owner was going on vacation and asked her brother to look after her pet while she was away. Wanting to save himself the trouble of commuting across the city, the brother decided to temporarily move into her apartment so the cat wouldn’t be alone.

On the very first day in the new place, the man managed to fall ill — high fever, stuffy nose, bad cough. All he could do was collapse onto the bed and try to sleep.

But the cat clearly didn’t like the idea of him sleeping. As soon as the man got somewhat comfortable, he heard the cat crying loudly. The cat was yowling non-stop, so the man, gathering the last of his strength, dragged himself to the kitchen, filled the cat’s bowl with food, and poured fresh water. But the moment he returned to the room, the cat’s cries resumed with the same intensity.
