After work, a woman was surprised to see the nanny getting out of the shower. After being confronted, she explained she needed a shower because a child spilled milk on her.
Since this was unusual, the woman wanted more explanation. Since she wasn’t leaving the kids alone, the nanny decided she could take a shower while they napped.
“I still don’t think it’s appropriate for you to shower in my home though,” she said frustratedly. The 23-year-old nanny reassured her that she did it because it wasn’t a big issue.
As they debated, the woman’s husband entered the living room. This twisted matters further as he was supposed to be at work.
The husband agreed with the nanny that his wife shouldn’t have gotten mad over a shower.
Woman was confused. She suspected her husband was cheating with the babysitter she hired.
The woman pulled out her old nanny cam from when the kids were babies, full of doubts. After installing it in the living room, she watched for suspicious activity.
She saw her spouse enter the house the next day while watching the video. She observed his early departure. He was supposed to be at work, so why was he home at that time?
Unaware of what was going on, the woman told her boss she wasn’t feeling fine and asked if she could call the day off.
She rushed home and saw her husband making lunch.
Looking at her, he said, “You are early.” She informed him they permitted her to go home early because of a power outage that brought the systems down. He seemed to accept her tale before stating, “Honey, I have to tell you something,” sounding like he was guilty of a crime.
He then revealed something surprising.
The husband said his employer downsized and fired him a week ago. Too terrified to tell his wife the truth, he claimed. He hid it from her by pretending to work. He spent his days at home hunting for a job online and assisting with the kids.
He added, “Yesterday indeed our daughter spilled milk on our nanny so I told her to go and wash everything while I was there to take care of the napping kids.”
