The original poster, who stumbled upon the snake while doing yard work, shared the image with a simple challenge: “Find the copperhead.” The user added that after spotting the snake, they carefully relocated it back into the woods.

“PSA: Don’t kill copperheads, they’re just vibing,” the post read. “Carefully relocate them; they appreciate not being turned into ‘snake bites.’”

Copperheads: Masters of Disguise

Copperheads are a species of venomous snake native to North America, commonly found in forested areas. Their reddish-brown markings create the perfect camouflage against fallen leaves and earthy terrain, making them difficult to detect—even when they’re right in front of you.
