Not a single toy is under this tree. How did this all go so fast? One minute you’re buying dolls, LEGO sets, video games and stuffed animals and the next, you’re buying practical ADULT gifts that your ADULT kids want! Tonight when Santa comes (NOTE: as long as you’re a child living in this house Santa still comes ), he won’t be assembling a doll house, play kitchen or any other toy, it will be short and sweet and he can get to bed early. Oh and he can
sleep in, but what he (and ME!) wouldn’t give for a 6AM wake-up call from a bunch of excited kids who can’t wait to see what Santa brought. The years are long, but the days are short my friends. Enjoy those Christmas moments with your babies. I know I will, but in a different way. I’ll love playing games with them, eating great food. Visiting our much loved family. Reminiscing about our wonderful Christmases from the past and making new memories. We’ll FaceTime with the grand kids (cause you better believe I bought them toys! ), and enjoy what Christmas is now. But, if I could only go back, I’d so love a magical Christmas Eve when my babies were small …
Merry Christmas my friends! ❤️ xo ~ PaigeAny other “older” parents feeling this? We did get a long season – our oldest is 33 and the youngest is 18, but it went by way too quick! Still – I’m excited for new things to come. I always get so sentimental on Christmas Eve … have a wonderful holiday friends! ~ Paige
