Trump has already announced plans to sign ten executive orders on immigration as part of his inauguration, which will partially repeal the laws and regulations put in place during the Biden administration.

Trump is expected to issue 11 executive orders specifically for the border crisis today, three of which have already garnered a lot of attention online.

Trump will sign more than 200 executive actions, a vast first wave of policy priorities centered on energy, border security, lowering the cost of living for American families, terminating DEI programs throughout the federal government, and more.

As noted by Fox News, below are three of the border-related executive actions Trump is expected to take immediately:

1) DHS and DOD will be ordered to finish the wall. Personnel will be deployed to take control of the border. Parole policies/programs terminated, such as CBP One App. Migrant flights program done. Catch and release over. Remain in Mexico back.

2) U.S. troops to the border under NORTHCOM

3) Designate cartels as foreign terrorist orgs, such as Tren de Aragua and MS-13. This allows further latitude in stopping their operations.

“The president is issuing a historic series of executive orders and actions that will fundamentally reform the American government, including the complete and total restoration of American sovereignty,” the official told Fox News.

Trump will declare a national border emergency on the first day, order the U.S. military to cooperate with the Department of Homeland Security to completely secure the southern border, and make it a national priority to eradicate all criminal cartels that are active on American soil.

Trump will issue a proclamation closing the border to all illegal aliens.

Additionally, Trump plans to form homeland security task forces comprising FBI, ICE, CEA, and other law enforcement officers to “fully eradicate the presence of criminal cartels.”

To fulfill his homeland security mission, Trump will also order the designation of cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, according to the official.

Trump will also re-institute “Remain in Mexico,” and direct the military to construct a new area of border wall. He will grant emergency authorities to suspend the entry of illegal aliens across the southwest border, allowing for individuals apprehended to be “swiftly returned to their countries of origin.”

Trump will “fully unleash” Alaskan energy, which the official described as essential to U.S. national security.

The senior official told Fox News that the energy executive order deals with “every single energy policy,” and addresses liquid natural gas, ports, fracking, pipelines, permitting, and more, while also terminating President Biden’s policies, which he said “have constrained U.S. energy supply.”

Additionally, the official stated that Trump will completely overhaul the federal bureaucracy by reinstating presidential authority over the career federal workforce and letting federal employees know that they can lose their jobs if they don’t follow executive orders.

Trump will issue an executive order to establish a new merit-based hiring review and increase presidential authority over top government officials. Trump will also act to get federal employees back to working face-to-face.

The official also said Trump will end the “weaponization of the federal government,” and “restore freedom of speech” and “end federal censorship.”

According to the official, Trump will also take charge of foreign aid and NGO funding and implement a new hiring freeze at the Department of Government Efficiency.

“He is reasserting muscular control of the Executive Branch of the U.S. government,” the official told Fox News.

Regarding cutting costs for American families, the official told Fox News Digital that Trump’s “historic de-regulatory effort” of his second term will begin when he signs a presidential memorandum ordering all agencies and departments to eliminate any federal actions that raise costs for families and consumers.

“This is a massive, record-setting, unmatched first wave,” the official told Fox News Digital. “Even after this, there is a whole host in the queue to continue the restoration of America.”

The official told Fox News that “everything” voters voted for “is being translated into executive policy.”

“There is a massive federal workforce that has been moving its objectives at the expense of the American people–and President Trump is taking command, saying you will serve the American people and only American people,” the official said. “This is about stopping corrupt, abusive behavior and re-focusing the government on its fundamental duties to the American people.”

Incoming Trump administration officials said that the overarching theme of his Day One actions is “promises made, promises kept.”

“As soon as President Trump places his hand on the Bible and swears the Oath to the United States Constitution, the Golden Age of America will begin,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News. “The American people will have a leader who will deliver on the promises he made to restore our country’s greatness.”

On Sunday, the president-elect gave a sneak peek at one of his Day One executive orders concerning the well-known video-sharing app TikTok, which was ordered to shut down in the US after a U.S. Supreme Court decision.

Trump is expected to sign an order that will “extend the period before the law’s prohibitions take effect so that we can make a deal to protect our national security.” Additionally, Trump stated that the order would reaffirm that “no company that helped keep TikTok from going dark before my order will be held liable.”

“Shock and awe on a scale never seen before” was how a Trump official described the wave of actions.
